thanks Heather! I’m usually the same (with cake over pie), but I’d wanted to make a proper pie for SO long that I figured just tackling a fruit pie would be milestone enough haha – and I can’t believe it’s raining in California! We were in Venice beach for 3 days on our way back a few weeks ago, and it rained the whole time… so strange.

With updating photos, you’re so right – photos are probably never going to feel quite good enough, so looking back at old ones are the best reminder of progress – as tough as that is sometimes haha! x
